Dudhi muthia

Ingredients:-

1 Dudhi/lauki/bottle gourd(shredded)
Ginger paste
Garlic paste
Green chili paste
Salt
Turmeric
Pickle masala
Hing
Sugar (optional)
Lemon juice
1/2 cup Sooji
1/2 cup Wheat flour
1/2 cup Besan
1/4 tsp baking soda
2tsp oil

First of all shred the Dudhi.Squeeze out all the water.Don’t trash water.Keep it aside in a bowl .In a bowl add sooji,wheat flour and besan.Add in ginger paste,garlic paste,green chili paste.Add salt,turmeric,pickle masala,lemon juice and baking soda and sugar.Now mix everything together.You might need to add little bit Dudhi juice.Now put the steamer on stove and get it ready.Now apply some oil on palm and make muthiya,and steam them on medium flame for 15-20 minutes.After its done,let it cool down.In a pan add some oil,add in mustard seeds once starts crackling add in hing chopped green chili and curry leaves.Turn off the flame.Garnish them with sone sesame seeds and serve.I personally relish them with hot ginger tea.
