Rakhi

Wishing all friends and relatives blessed and florets full of rakhi festival may lord khrishna do raksha and save every soul.

The relationship of Lord Krishna and Draupadi is something which cannot be explained, a relationship which has no name but is one of the most respectful existences. They call each other ‘Sakhi’ which means best friends but then it worth’s a respect much more than that. The relationship which cannot be named and can only be respected!

Once Lord Krishna cut his little finger and was bleeding profusely. Seeing this, Rukmani (his wife) sent her help to get a bandage cloth while Sathyabama (his other consort) rushed to bring some cloth herself. Draupadi who was watching all of this rather simply tore off a part of her sari and bandaged his finger.

This piece of sari later became endless and saved her from the embarrassment of being disrobed (vastraharan), in front of many people in King Dhritarashtra’s court. Hence, Lord Krishna kept his promise of saving her when in a problem. This is what a brother’s duties are to his sister. Therefore, this day- Raksha-Bandhan 2018 (Rakhi 2018) is more dedicated to these two divinities.
